This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it as short and plain as we can, because you're here for the home-safety content, not legal homework.
What we collect
- When you join the free course: your first name and email address, submitted through our forms. Optionally, a note on who the course is for (yourself, parents, people you care for, or planning ahead).
- When you buy the Masterclass: the purchase is processed by Gumroad. Gumroad collects your name, email, and payment details under their own privacy policy. We receive the order confirmation and can see the email used for the purchase.
- When you email us: whatever you choose to share with us, so we can help you.
- Usage data: our hosting provider may keep standard, short-lived server logs (pages requested, rough location, device type) to keep the site working securely. We currently use no advertising trackers or cookies that profile you.
How we use it
- To deliver the free 5-day course, the assessment, and the workbook links you asked for
- To send you the course emails and, if you stay subscribed, occasional practical newsletters you can unsubscribe from at any time in one click
- To respond to your messages
- To fulfill your Masterclass purchase and deliver the materials you paid for
- To keep the site reliable and secure, and to understand (in aggregate) what's useful so we can write better articles
Email (Kit)
Our email list and automations run through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Your name and email are stored with Kit to send the course. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link; if you use it, we stop emailing you immediately. You can also write to us at any time and we'll remove you.
Purchases (Gumroad)
Purchases of the Masterclass and the Complete Guide (PDF + EPUB) are processed by Gumroad, which handles payment security, tax where applicable, and delivery of your downloads and access. We never see or store your card details. Your purchase is also covered by Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy, which apply to them as our payment processor.
Who we share data with
We don't sell, rent, or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the business (Kit for email, Gumroad for payments, our hosting provider for serving files), and only as far as each one needs it. We never hand your data to advertisers.
How long we keep it
We keep subscriber details while you remain subscribed, and purchase records as long as required for accounting and tax purposes. Server logs are kept briefly. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to records we're legally required to keep.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from emails in one click, any time
- Ask us to see, correct, or delete the data we hold about you
- Contact us about anything in this policy
To exercise any of these, email william@agelessandindependent.com. We reply to privacy requests within 30 days.
A note about safety content
This site provides educational information, not medical, legal, or financial advice. We never collect health records, and you should never send us sensitive personal health information in email.
Children
This service is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and change the date above. For material changes, we'll email active subscribers.
